How about baby food and rats?

I've heard that some baby foods from the store can be given to rats. What are the opinions on this and which brands are appropriate?





Obviously I wouldn't just be feeding my ratties baby food, but I figured it'd be a nice little treat.





Again this is just something I read somewhere, and would like a confirmation.

Yes, you can feed baby food to your rat. Any brand is fine. The important thing is to feed your rat a variety so she gets all the nutrients she needs and to stay away from the forbidden foods (of feeding too much of limiting foods).





Many people use baby food for treats OR when a rat is sick to keep their weight up OR post surgery when they have to hear an e-collar.How about baby food and rats?
Yup I actually get to give my baby rats baby food from time to time since they couldn't eat harder foods ( These were weanling rats)


Like said above make sure it has alot of variety And I use gerber
