What could i get my rats for christmas?

i would like to get them something, but i dont know what. they have parrot toys, but they dont play with them. What could i get my rats for christmas?
nothing, animals don't believe in Santa Claus. What could i get my rats for christmas?
treats or a exercise wheel so they can play on.

nest box, more toys.

Don鈥檛 overcrowd the cage with toys. Not only does this leave little room for your rats, but they might get hurt if a toy falls on them by accident. Let your rats play with a toy for a week, then take it away and replace it with a different one. If you switch your pet鈥檚 toys around regularly, they鈥檒l stay more active and interested in exploring their environment, which is necessary for their mental and physical health.

You should clean your rats' cage at least once a week. A clean home plays an important role in keeping your pet healthy.

hope this helps =]

You could get them:

- A new, bigger cage (Martin's or Ferret Nation)

- New hammocks (hanging cube ones are cool) http://www.wonderrodent.com/

- New fluffy toys. Ferret.com has some cool toys like the octopus http://www.ferret.com/item/marshall-pet-鈥?/a>

- Parrot food. The ones with big pieces of dried fruit and nuts in the shell. Mine like those to nibble on occasionally. Mine loooove peanuts in the shell.

- A dirt box. Some rats like to dig for seeds. http://www.dapper.com.au/toys.htm#diggin鈥?/a>

- Play pen

- Cardboard box village

Just some ideas off the top of my head.

Hope that helps!
What an adorable thought! A tiny cardboard box wrapped with giftwrap! and you know they would really enjoy opening it too! http://www.dapper.com.au/toys.htm seems to have lots of fun ideas for rats, but I dont know how gift-wrappable they are. heres some more wrappable ideas, but they look a lot like parrot toys. Are you sure they wont like them? http://www.rattoy.com/
Ha! Someone else who buys Christmas presents for their little pets! I do the same thing. I buy my pets toys and treats mostly. I even buy my fish new plants, or just another container of fish flakes. You could buy them a new pack of bedding, especially since it's something you probably buy anyway. Treats and toys are easiest ideas for me!
Why not try this website?; http://www.ratwarehouse.com/shop_view.ph鈥?/a>

They are closed at the moment but back at the end of the month - plenty of time to order for Christmas...

I think your rat would prefer rat toys to parrot ones.. They stock various foods, treats and accessories for your rats too.

I think the cargo net looks like great ratty fun!!

my sister bought her rat this plastic ball thing. you put the rat inside (it has air holes) and the rat runs around making the ball roll everywhere. Her rat loves it, but not sure where you'd get it from though
get a loo roll tube, put some treats in, wrap it in gift wrap, ratty cracker

make them a hammok

ping pong balls

treats

harness ( so they can see the world )

a teddy

a rope ( hung from top of cage)

I buy my rats these rat treats called Yogies, and they go nuts over them! They are just flavored yogurt drops. They come in many flavors, mine have strawberry. I've tasted one, and I can see why they love them so much.
What about tiny little rat sized football shirts with a rat football and two rat goals. Then they could have a little rat football match which you could film and keep. That would always put a smile on your face.
Cheese! There's this spanish product called ';Quezo De Bola';. It's a big ball of cheese usually given during the yuletide season...
I've heard exercise balls make rats stressed and arch their back and tail in an awkward position.

Try getting a salt lick, some treats and some other toys.
i give myy rats yummy treats like cheese wrapped up in paper .. so they havee to chew there way into it andd then theyy havee opened it themselfs :)
give them some toys or some yummt treats!!!theyll LOVE it!!!
You could get them a hammock-like thing if they like to climb.....
Rat treats?
A rat ball! so they can roll around the house.
