Whats a save way to rid of rats without hurting my dog?

well you can call a pest comtrol company and get a ';bait box'; its filled with a poison that only a rat/mouse can get into. its not really a poison but its vitaminK witch makes the rat/mouse need water. they usually leave the house to seek water and die. it over dehydrates them. its about 35-40 bucks for one of these and there is no way to get the poison in/out with out a key so its pet %26amp; child safe. or you could get a rat trap and set it beside your fridge, or oven if there's room and peanut butter is the best bait.Whats a save way to rid of rats without hurting my dog?

There a big sticky mats that come pre-baited. The mice, rats, snakes, spiders, step on it and cannot move. I usually add a teeny dot of peanut butter in the middle. You can find them at discount stores, hardware stores and farm and ranch stores. Good Luck!

using poison has the risk of your dog getting into it


using conventional mouse traps has the chance of your dog getting hurt if it accidentally triggers it





or you could use a conventional mouse trap, but put it in an area where your dog cannot access it.
