Rats Anyone know how to get rid if them?

They seem to be eveywhere in our community, I live in a really small town,Environmental health doesnt seem to even care.Please has anyone any good ideasRats Anyone know how to get rid if them?
Seriously? You can't do better than the good old fashioned Victor Rat Trap (seen in great cartoons for decades). Of course disposal is not for the squeamish.Rats Anyone know how to get rid if them?
Do you have a flute? An old school band recorder will work!
rats and mice love jelly tots,the cheeky things cant resists them!! i know this may sound a little mad but we have tried it at my friends farm,





get jelly tots in bucket and loads of rat poison mix together and leave in bucket for couple of days.





next go spread them where the rats have been seen, the rats will eat the jelly tots which have been sat in the poison, they wont be able to resists its the sugar it sends them nutty and they cant get enough of the stuff,





this way they eat 3 times the amount of poison and die really quickly.
When I got our composter, the rats got in. I rang the council and they sent out ';the rat man'; he put bait down and cured the problem Ring your council and make a big fuss

Don't worry -- if Iran gets nukes, you won't have a rat problem for long. Cockroaches and Twinkies, on the other hand, will continue to give you fits.
pest control have to come out or ask at a pet shop
Keep ferrets as pets...!





Honestly. If you leave ferret droppings around the outskirts of your property, the rats will panic big time and give you a wide bearth.
The best policy is to insist on the Council sending their pest controller, who will know how to handle rat poison.


If you get no response, go to the Public Health Department and the local/national newspapers! Things really do move then!
