Does anyone know of a great rat trap? We live in the middle of the corn field and have problems with rats...?

they come into the house and even though our cats get some it seems there's always one or two in the house. Yesterday I saw one walk right past a trap. Have tried poison in the past and not happy with results.Does anyone know of a great rat trap? We live in the middle of the corn field and have problems with rats...?
place saucers of beer where you think the rats enter and change every few days. the rats drink the beer , cant burp, die...Does anyone know of a great rat trap? We live in the middle of the corn field and have problems with rats...?
cats
More cats or a Daschund's are good ratters.
Sounds dumb, but brush your cats. Put any loose hair in those places where the rats can get in. The smell will get them cause they can't tell the difference from just the coat or the real thing.
my dad uses these things in the garage and they catch mice and stuff. they like glow and atract them and they like stick em and then they die, they also catch crickets and stuff you get em from like hometeam or like your pest control should have em
You need to consult a professional exterminator; you are going to need to figure out how they are getting in and fix that as well.
Buy alot of hungry mean cats. or flood the cornfield with water
would like to know if there is a lake or river near by you can put plaster of paris around where you think they will go they will eat it and run looking for water will drink the water and drown you can also put wate in big pails and see what happens
