Do you think it would be immoral if humans started creating clones for the purpose of using them as lab rats?

If in the future, people cloned humans and used the clones to experiment on in the name of scientific and medical progression? Would clones be classified as humans or not?Do you think it would be immoral if humans started creating clones for the purpose of using them as lab rats?
To answer the question, we need a definition of what makes someone human.

I think that, if clones are grown with no prefrontal lobe in their brains, then no, it would not be unethical to experiment on them. IF any of those prefrontal lobe-absent clones were to complain, then experiments on them should stop immediately.

Using them could prevent a lot of suffering and a lot of early deaths, as new medications become available quickly and safely.

to Fred F...if you used my idea, the clone would NOT think, so it would not matter.Do you think it would be immoral if humans started creating clones for the purpose of using them as lab rats?
immoral, yes

a good idea, yes

wrong though, yes
