Can I leave my female rats together when one of them has her litter?hat would you like to ask?

It is possible that one of my female rats is pregnant and I cannot afford to get another cage for her and the pups. Is it possible I can leave her with her sister in their 50X60 cm cage? It has many floors and tons of beds and hiding places and such. Can I leave my female rats together when one of them has her litter?hat would you like to ask?
If the other rat bothers her the least bit she will more than likely eat her babies. Even if you separate her and she feels threatened, that her babies are in danger, or that there are too many of them she could eat them. It would be best to separate them, because the other rat could very well eat them herself. Can I leave my female rats together when one of them has her litter?hat would you like to ask?
