Is that story about rats in peanut butter true?

ok so someone told me that recently people figured out that at the processing plant when they have those machines automatically make peanut butter (since they're machines) they don't stop when rats come into the pathway of the machine and get processed into the peanut butter. true or false?Is that story about rats in peanut butter true?
Rodent hair ,droppings and insect parts are in almost everything we eat.


Peanut butter and chocolate have higher amounts( as does tomato sauces).


So, yes it's true.


It's unavoidable( called the ';Food Defect Action Level).

When you eat fresh veggies from your own garden, your eating insects and insect parts( no matter how well you clean them).

All an inspector does is check for cleanliness, safety and send sample to a lab to check if the allowed defects are to high.


The insects and rodent hair, excrements and other goodies are there whether we can mentally accept them or not.


On average we consume 2 pounds of this junk a year( if we didn't we'd all starve).


So get use to it.

Do you really believe the health inspectors would allow that to happen? NO!!





Buildings where food is processed are very carefully sealed and all rats and insects are kept completely out of the buildings.





People coming into these processing plants have to come through a ';clean room'; and put on disposable coveralls, shoe covers head coverings, and several other health treatments before they can do their jobs of making the foods. Most of these processing plants also require the regular workers to shower before coming into work areas and when leaving them as well.





There is absolutely no danger in the USA or Canada of this happening.





The rumor is very very untrue.
i'm makin my own peanut of butter from now on .lol





if you think about it . nothing incompletely clean these days .
