I seen an ad in the local Craigslist for frozen rats?

I recently seen an ad in the local Craigslist for frozen rats. The ad said the rats ate healthy, and lived a good life. If the rats had such a good life, why were they froze? If the rats were still alive when frozen, thats pretty sadistic.I seen an ad in the local Craigslist for frozen rats?
I hate to be the one to describe how these critters meet there fate....but here it is.....they are put in the freezer alive, and they slowly freeze to death. The same process is done to what is called ';pinkies';. They are new born mice. I myself can't stand the idea of the whole process. Once, I walked into a pet store and saw that there was 2 very pregnant female mice...I bought them just so this horrible fate would not befall the babies.In less then 12 hrs I had 19 new babies. That's 19 ';pinkies'; that the snakes didn't get.I seen an ad in the local Craigslist for frozen rats?

They are advertising for snake food. They want you to know the rats were healthy so you are not concerned about getting your reptile sick by feeding them diseased rats.
Frozen food is actually safer for snakes than live food. I'm not sure how the rats are frozen, but I've heard it is not a pleasant death for them.
Frozen rats are usually used as snake feed, I'm not sure how they are killed but the totally travel better frozen!
People who house rodent eating critters don't always want to house their food. So someone with a keen business sense thought to raise the rats, freeze and sell them for profit. Not a bad idea if I do say so.
