Can I let ferrets and rats play together in neutral areas given that they were raised together as babies?

So does it mask the ferrets' instincts if they were raised together?? i've seen videos where a rat terrier playing with rats and they were raised together too XDCan I let ferrets and rats play together in neutral areas given that they were raised together as babies?
No, ferrets are predators and it is their natural instinct to kill small animals such as rats. If they were raised together it MAY not, but even if they were a ferret could very easily kill a rat in a matter of seconds, it certainly isn't worth the risk of your rat's life just to see if they will play. Can I let ferrets and rats play together in neutral areas given that they were raised together as babies?
Definitly NO!! The ferret is a predator, and will kill your rat some time or another, even if they were handraised together from birth. The both are very interesting pets, and I am sure they will play together nicely, but when the ferret's instincts kick in, it will kill the rat in a second. Rather get them each a companion from the same specie, and enjoy them. They should'nt be kept alone. They need a friend 24/7, and they're just not siutable for each other.
Dogs are a lot different then ferrets. Generally the hunting breed of dogs will not get along with the ferrets and their instinct would be to search and destroys! But if you train your hunting breed dog properly then anything can be accomplished and he can be best pals with your ferrerity friend under close supervision of course.

However you cannot train the ferret to NOT use his or her hunting instincts, they will not listen to you and a rodent is just another rodent to them.
Well if they were raised TOGETHER than would you even be asking this question?

I wouldnt let rats and ferrets play together, I still fear for my cat when our jumpy little weasle is hoppin' around nibbling at his neck! If your ferrets are fun loving and your rats are brave, it shouldnt be too much of a problem. You'd need to keep your eyes on them for every second, though.
NO! Ferrets are bred to kill rats never let them play together otherwise you will end up with dead pets!
no the ferret will kill them
